Senior Manager, Commercial Market Development, ESD

The primary responsibility of the Senior Manager, Commercial Market Development, ESD will be to establish new business relationships and partnerships through the US. This will be accomplished through the building and nurturing the relationship with clinical customers, administration as well as C-Suite executives. The C-MD is responsible for the promotion of FUJIFILM Endoscopy's products and services to identified strategic partners across the US. The C-MD will work in collaboration with both the Endoscopy's sales and marketing teams to maximize sales volume, company profitability and revenue attainment. This position will develop plans and strategies with assigned partners throughout the US to ensure market growth. The C-MD will be responsible for driving the adoption of current and future technologies, this individual will need to be proficient in customer education, training, and product messaging. Additionally, this role will need to be proactive in maintaining a high level of team communication, that will encompass sales opportunities, success stories and best practices. This position will be required to 'cold call' on identified strategic opportunities as well as maintaining strong C-Suite relationship with established KOLs & Customers. This will be inclusive of leading semi-annual business reviews. Additionally, this individual will aide in contract negotiations from legal review to completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

Build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders (clinical and economic) with strategic customers. Establish new FUJIFILM relationships / partnerships throughout US. Develop and implement plans to achieve / exceed ESD sales budget. Develop sales / marketing strategies to develop new business as well as expand existing account revenue. Effective time-management to maintain optimum level of customer exposure. The ability to listen to customers needs and manage the feedback loop to the organization. Establish routine visits to the account for pre-arranged meetings / discussions on above-mentioned initiatives. In some instances, this individual may be asked to support in servicing or supporting a key account in the role of a clinical specialist (if the organization is resource constrained). Partner with the product management group including but not limited to all phases of the product lifecycle (e.g., product development, product launch, product changes, and product obsolescence). Define the clinical and economic needs of our customers (i.e., ASC and hospitals, and academic centers, community hospitals etc.) based on feedback from the field and customers. Understand the healthcare systems, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes in the various geographies within the United States. Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Comply with and pass all requirements for vendor credentialing as part of gaining access to hospitals and facilities to perform assigned job duties.

Qualifications

BA / BS or equivalent, preferably with a degree related to healthcare or biology or equivalent experience. Minimum 10+ years in flexible endoscopy field and strong clinical background. Minimum 10+ of medical device industry experience in a clinical capacity (clinical demonstration and education). Prior business development desired but not required. Strong customer orientation. Strong communication skills- presentation, written, and oral. Must have strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals. Proven ability to lead complex projects / initiatives. Strong analytical skills and commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Capable of effectively managing multiple deadlines and projects. Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving situations and needs Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and upholding FMSU's values. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be able to lift heavy objects of 50lbs. Possess driver's license. Availability to frequently travel, including evenings and weekends. The following qualifications are desirable, but not mandatory : Knowledge / familiarity with gastroenterology, pulmonology, urology, and / or gynecology related products and procedures. Management and / or leadership experience. Knowledge of North American healthcare systems and dynamics.
