DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Staff Physician 2, you will provide general medical care for all residents as well as coverage and continuity of care during physician absences. You will perform comprehensive assessments and physical examinations to arrive at accurate diagnoses, develop and execute appropriate therapeutic measures and resident care plans, and consult with staff and courts regarding resident conditions, welfare, and progress. You will document all clinical decisions and actions, write orders for medications and treatments, and dictate reports. This role requires a genuine desire to provide attentive care that promotes well-being by utilizing the best practices and techniques of primary care medicine . In addition, you will participate in s taff meetings and Post Mortem Committee meetings, perform employee health physicals, and provide life sustaining emergency services as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will participate in a rotational on-call schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
• Overtime as needed

• Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position.
