Responsibilities

• Analyze processes and equipment, complete root cause analyses, and create procedures for reliable equipment and stable processes.
• Improve operational and technical capabilities to achieve business goals.
• Identify and implement cost reduction improvements.
• Define, communicate, and specify expectations for quality and operations teams.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet requirements.
• Assess risks and issues, making decisions with a sense of urgency.
• Use formal problem-solving skills for complex problems.
• Identify and develop initiatives and capital projects to enhance supply chain processes.
• Seek and evaluate vendor qualifications.
• Justify and recommend capital improvements and upgrades.
• Set technical standards for operating manuals, maintenance, safety, and quality.
• Ensure all projects include risk analysis and contingency planning.
• Travel to collaborate with key stakeholders on process improvements and upgrades.
