A leading progressive technology firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join its growing engineering team. Since 2017, the company has developed innovative data and software solutions that empower left-leaning candidates, causes, and social good nonprofit organizations. Originally operating as a Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) company, it is now expanding into a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables smaller organizations to build customized models and integrate their own data layers. This is a full-time, onsite five days a week opportunity to join a high-performing team of 10 engineers dedicated to building technology that drives meaningful civic and community engagement.

This role offers the chance to become the organization's first dedicated QA professional, shaping the future of its testing and automation strategy. You will work alongside experienced engineers and a project manager with a QA background to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks that ensure the reliability and scalability of a fully web-based platform.The Offer includes a Bonus : Semi-annual profit sharing.Qualifications
2–4 years of hands-on experience in QA automationProficiency in Python and / or TypeScript for scriptingStrong understanding of Playwright or similar testing frameworksExpertise in end-to-end, UI / front-end, and API testingFamiliarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQLExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsDesired Skills & Experience
Experience developing automation frameworks from the ground upFamiliarity with data-driven platforms or analytics environmentsExposure to BitQuery or comparable data toolsBackground working in Agile or startup settingsStrong communication and documentation abilitiesTech Breakdown
