We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our client's team in Bloomfield, Connecticut on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of employee benefit programs, supporting claims administration, and collaborating with payroll teams to maintain seamless benefit operations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and expertise in benefits management to deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough audits of employee benefits to verify compliance and accuracy.
- Administer claims across various benefit programs, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
- Reconcile insurance payments and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide support to employees during benefit enrollment and offer clear guidance on available options.
- Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of benefits-related deductions.
- Regularly review active employee benefits and assess eligibility criteria.
- Coordinate with external vendors, such as insurance providers, to resolve benefit-related concerns.
- Organize and lead discussions on benefits programs using communication tools like Cisco Webex Meetings.
- Generate detailed reports to evaluate the utilization and effectiveness of benefit programs.
- Assist with audits and reconciliations to maintain accurate records and data integrity.
- Demonstrated experience in auditing employee benefits and managing claims administration.
- In-depth knowledge of benefit functions, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
- Familiarity with payroll processes and handling benefits-related deductions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and external vendors.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Workforce Now and Cisco Webex Meetings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Experience working with insurance providers and conducting reconciliations.
- Understanding of benefits compliance regulations and standards.
