Class A OTR Truck Driver - Orem, UT Transfer Yard

Description

This is an hourly, non-exempt, position which drives diesel powered tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver products or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form. Responsibilities for this position are to deliver merchandise to destination store, or other assigned locations, and back to the distribution center. Inspect equipment, truck, trailer, and dolly for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating equipment conditions. Must be able to operate and hook-up equipment such as trailer combination, load bars, and plywood along with assisting co-employees in loading and unloading trailers. You will be required to maintain driver's log according to federal and / or state regulations.

This position will include the following duties :

• Delivery of merchandise on weekly multi-stop store runs.
• Loading and unloading merchandise from store delivery trucks.
• Transportation of products and equipment around the yard.

Requirements :

Class A Commercial Driver's License

DOT approved medical card

At least 100,000 miles driving experience

Able to regularly lift and / or move up to 100 lbs., with reasonable accommodation

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older

High School Diploma or equivalent

Pass physical, drug and alcohol test

Upon accepting an offered position, candidates will be subject to E-Verify

Truck Driver positions start at $27.25 per hour
