HR Compliance Manager
Davis Tool is seeking an experienced professional who will manage the Human Resources function. This position reports to and works closely with the Controller. Duties and responsibilities include managing the HR team, recommending, developing, and implementing policies and programs to protect company and employee interests in accordance with company policies and government laws and regulations. The role also involves interacting with managers and employees regarding HR compliance issues and concerns, working professionally with other departments, employees, customers, and suppliers to solve problems, helping to identify and resolve informational discrepancies or procedural issues, making non-routine choices within established guidelines, and extensively using office / spreadsheet and company database software applications. Additionally, responsibilities include 401(k) administration to include 5500 testing, 401K audit, and interacting with auditors, as well as developing and implementing employee benefit programs.
We are looking for candidates with a bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, an MBA preferred, three years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and one year experience managing employees. Professional confidentiality and discretion in handling company and employee information, experience creating policies, procedures, and work instructions, very proficient and comfortable with spreadsheets, payroll, and office software, and leadership experience are also required.
