Job description

PV Scientist - 6 month+ contract

Remote

We are seeking a highly experienced PV Operations & Compliance professional for a 6-month initial contract to support our clients growing pharmacovigilance team. This is a fully remote opportunity (East Coast preferred) that will allow you to work across multiple facets of PV, compliance, and medical safety.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD, 10+ years’ industry experience, and hands-on exposure to small-to-mid biotech companies, where they have tackled a variety of compliance, operations, and safety responsibilities. Ideally you are a contractor through and through, and ready to hit the ground running.

What You’ll Do :

  • Support the Director of Operations and The Head of Medical Safety Science across PV Operations, Compliance, and Safety functions.
  • Assist with vendor management, particularly related to safety vendors.
  • Contribute to compliance reporting, presentations, and other documentation (PowerPoint skills a must).
  • Jump in wherever needed, helping across PV operations, PV compliance, and medical safety.
  • Be willing to learn, adapt, and support multiple areas under guidance and mentorship from the team.

Who You Are :

  • PharmD or equivalent scientific background
  • 10+ years in PV / Operations / Compliance, ideally with biotech experience (pharma acceptable if biotech experience present)
  • Hands-on experience in small / mid-sized companies, working across operations, compliance, and medical safety
  • Comfortable working across therapeutic areas - ideal if you have metabolic / obesity experience but not a must
  • Familiarity with Argus is preferred
  • Global experience preferred (US, Europe, Canada)
  • Device experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and PowerPoint skills
  • A proactive, flexible consultant mindset – willing to take ownership and contribute across multiple teams

  • Duration : 6 months initially
  • Hours : 40 hours / week
  • Start : Late October / Early November
  • Fully remote (East Coast preferred)
