Sigma Build, LLC is actively seeking an Assistant Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in ensuring the timely and budget-friendly completion of the multi-family project, while providing an exceptional experience for all stakeholders. This position is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in coordinating the complete construction and administrative requirements of the various bid packages; organizing the complexities into an already developed and established management system that includes the monitoring and follow-up of each vendor's project compliance and orchestrating the information flows needed for each component and system to be incorporated into the project – all within the time frames required by the progress schedule. This position is a full-time, exempt role.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Implement company policies as they relate to established project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and the estimating and purchasing teams to finalize various bid packages and the baseline construction schedule.
- Work with the Project Manager and Superintendent to develop site utilization and logistics programs.
- Establish, maintain, conduct, and police detailed procedures for the submittal, review, coordination, approval, and distribution of shop drawings, samples, etc.
- Establish and maintain all project files related to subcontract and bid package records, plans, specifications, changes, clarifications, and as-built documents.
- Review all vendor schedules and prepare the general schedule as coordinated with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
- Manage the complete periodic requisition procedure for review, submittal, and payment.
- Determine the appropriateness and prepare subcontractor change orders for processing through the Project Manager.
- Along with the Project Superintendent, evaluate subcontractor payment requisitions in relation to the actual work performed.
- Working with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Accounting to prepare the general requisition and follow it through to payment
- Assign cost codes for all aspects of the work and ensure that all documents are correctly coded.
- Expedite pricing and draft paperwork required to formalize change orders for review by the Project Manager.
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing subcontractors / vendors / etc. Scopes of work, budgets, review and procure bids, and prepare and administer contracts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE :
