Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization in the entertainment industry, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the modernization of a portfolio of eight enterprise-level applications critical to internal business operations. This role centers on driving product strategy, execution, modernization, and delivery across large-scale technical systems.
You will be responsible for managing finances, defining and maintaining roadmaps, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and enabling engineering teams to deliver high-quality enhancements efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a proven ability to operate independently in a complex, fast-paced environment.
This is a collaborative role that interfaces closely with engineering, design, operations, and other product managers, with significant ownership and influence over product direction.
Responsibilities of the right candidate :
Modernization Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the full modernization initiative for a suite of eight enterprise applications, including long-term strategic planning, budget oversight, and cross-functional coordination.
- Define and execute product strategy aligned with business goals, technical constraints, and modernization objectives.
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management : discovery, requirements definition, roadmap planning, prioritization, execution, release, and ongoing optimization.
Project & Execution Management
Oversee day-to-day project execution to ensure engineering teams remain unblocked and productive.Design, track, and maintain story points, sprint goals, acceptance criteria, and engineering deliverables.Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, validate needs, and resolve issues proactively.Manage multiple parallel workstreams with rapidly shifting priorities in a fast-moving technical environment.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, design, operations, business stakeholders, and other product managers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.Partner directly with the hiring manager and peer PMs for roadmap alignment, dependency management, and technical planning.Facilitate productive meetings, drive consensus, and mediate conflicting priorities across technical and non-technical teams.Technical & Analytical Responsibilities
Apply strong technical understanding—web platforms, databases, cloud technologies—to guide engineering decisions and evaluate proposed solutions.Analyze complex data, metrics, and system behaviors to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Ensure solutions adhere to organizational standards, security requirements, compliance expectations, and industry best practices.Stakeholder Management & Communication
Communicate highly complex technical content to executive leadership, engineering teams, and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.Prepare and present updates, documentation, roadmaps, and case study materials as needed.Represent product decisions with a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and urgency.Qualifications of the right candidate :
10+ years of experience in product management, with proven ownership of large-scale, complex, technical products.Demonstrated success leading technical teams and managing enterprise-level software platforms.Strong ability to gather, interpret, and analyze data to solve unique and ambiguous product challenges.Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical content clearly across technical, non-technical, external, and internal stakeholders.Strong facilitation, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.Extraordinary attention to detail with exceptional organization and documentation skills.Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision—a self-starter who takes initiative and drives outcomes independently.STEM bachelor’s degree (required due to the highly technical nature of the environment).Nice-to-Have Qualifications :
Experience with custom-developed enterprise applications.Understanding of modern software design patterns, principles, and engineering best practices.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern product development processes.Exposure to modern development frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, .NET, and PHP.Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.Experience building applications with strong security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.Track record of delivering highly available, scalable, N-tier enterprise solutions.Deep understanding of the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies including Scrum, Waterfall, XP, etc.
