Vice President Position

Angelo, Gordon & Co., L.P. seeks a Vice President in New York, NY to analyze and remediate enterprise-wide software issues across existing business applications including Advent Geneva Portfolio Management System, IVP Data Warehouse, IVP Security Master, and other internal and external interfaces. Requires a Masters degree in Financial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent and two (2) years of experience building scalable data pipelines in Python on Databricks; maintaining and utilizing database and repository tools, including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, and Git; querying and manipulating data using SQL; applying machine learning algorithms, including Random Forest and BERT; collecting data through web scraping, reliable sources data gathering, APIs, and working with data vendors; applying data analysis techniques including data mining, cleaning, and visualization; communicating complex data insights to business users through visualizations utilizing tools including Power BI and Dash; and identifying patterns and developing solutions in the finance industry by creating precise submissions for regulatory reporting and ensuring accurate fund cash flow allocation. Telecommuting and / or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Salary Range : $196,000.00 - $250,000.00 / year.
