Job description

Make a Difference as a New Grad RN in Lake Ridge - Apply Now!

What You'll Do

  • Direct and coordinate nursing care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Engage with patients and families in care planning and education.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care.
  • Assist in defining standards of excellence for patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and daily operational activities.
  • Provide input on unit needs to the Nurse Manager.
  • Contribute to hospital committees on nursing policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with no prior RN experience.
  • Valid RN License from Virginia or a reciprocal compact state.
  • Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required at hire.
  • AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within 90 days.
  • NIHSS (Bluecloud) certification required within 90 days.
