Job Responsibilities :
Work under the direction of RN Preceptors to provide patient care within the defined professional standards.Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.Implement patient and family education using effective methods, providing coaching and resources.Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with policies and monitor the quality of care provided by team members.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.Actively participate in competency training and seek guidance as needed.Demonstrate adherence to professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics.Education Requirements :
Graduated from an accredited nursing program.For Illinois candidates : Must pass the NCLEX with official verification.Experience : No prior experience is required.
Licenses / Certifications :
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from American Heart Association (AHA).Must obtain Registered Nurse (RN) licensure within 6 months of employment.For additional states, meet the specific licensure requirements as stated.Work Environment :
Expect to work night shifts primarily, with approximately 36 scheduled hours per week.
