Position : Project Engineer Geotechnical

Location : Murrieta California (On-site)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering

Licensure

Active California Professional Engineer (PE) license REQUIRED

Candidate must be on track for Geotechnical Engineer (GE) licensure

Experience

5 years of geotechnical engineering and project management experience

Proven experience managing projects from proposal through construction

Strong client-facing and reporting background

Core Technical Expertise

Candidates must have experience in :

Shallow & deep foundation design (vertical and lateral capacity)

Settlement and liquefaction analysis

Slope stability analysis

Retaining wall and grading recommendations

Construction geotechnical services and site inspections

Preparation and review of geotechnical reports addenda and proposals

Knowledge of ground motion evaluation is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage geotechnical projects across private and public sectors

Delegate work to engineering and field teams

Review and approve geotechnical reports and proposals

Provide engineering recommendations for development and infrastructure projects

Oversee construction-phase geotechnical services

Support business development and client relationships
