Job Overview

Responsible for the leadership of multiple complex cross-functional projects / small scale programs supporting an overall objective, related to all aspects of ongoing compliance to quality and regulatory requirements for medical devices, within a product area or product areas as part of the Acute Care Therapies business. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the structure of the multiple projects, as well as be responsible for all phases of the projects.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Lead large scale projects / small scale programs consisting of multiple cross-functional projects and teams (60%)
  • Manage projects / programs within standardized methods and project models (20%)
  • Be a mentor and coach to project leaders (20%)

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in medical devices or other regulated industry
  • Minimum of 5+ years in project lead or project manager role

    • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Medical Device experience including thorough understanding of Medical Device Quality Management Systems (ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, ISO 14971)
  • Working knowledge of FDA and International Standards requirements as related to capital equipment and disposables
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Antura or other project management software
  • Experience in leading tasks / projects through a structured, phase-gate process
  • Lead and manage technical meetings with cross-functional members
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; strong technical writing skills
  • Ability to listen, convey empathy, and provide support
  • Ability to resolve conflict and build team unity
  • Ability to lead and manage a group of people
  • Task oriented and driven to complete assignments on schedule
  • Must have the ability to effectively interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.

    • Salary range : $120-150K - 10% Bonus (depending on overall company performance)
