Location : Somerset, KY 42503 (Kentucky nursing jobs)

Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Employment Type : Travel nursing contract

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed hours)

Start Date : October 27, 2025

End Date : January 26, 2026

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kentucky or compact state)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an acute care hospital (ICU nursing experience preferred)

Ability to float to other units within a 25-mile radius as needed

Current BLS certification (ACLS and other certifications may be required)

Strong clinical skills and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Excellent communication and professionalism

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress using electronic health records (EHR)

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Operate and troubleshoot advanced ICU medical equipment

Float to other hospital units within a 25-mile radius as required

Deliver compassionate support to patients and their families
