Description :

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a Birthing Pavilion.

Position requires an ASAP start.

The unit operates under a Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum model.

We facilitate approximately 1300 deliveries annually.

The facility includes 21 rooms, a 2-bed triage room, and 2 operating rooms.

Our staffing guidelines include nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 1 for active labor and Pitocin administration.

A ratio of 1 : 2 is maintained for cervical ripening and administration of high-risk medications like Magnesium Sulfate and Insulin drips.

Postpartum couplets and Antepartum care are managed with a 1 : 3 ratio.

All team members are expected to demonstrate competence in their designated areas.
