Direct Counsel is representing an established and growing Personal Injury Law firm seeking a Personal Injury Demand Writer to join their growing team in Burbank, CA . This full-time, in-office role offers the opportunity to work in a professional, energetic environment with a supportive team. While a background in personal injury law is required, full training will be provided.

Position Overview :

The Personal Injury Demand Writer will prepare persuasive demand letters for personal injury cases. This role involves reviewing medical records, calculating damages, and summarizing case facts to effectively advocate on behalf of clients. Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with medical terminology are essential.

Key Responsibilities :

Identify medical issues and apply knowledge of medical terminology

Review medical records and calculate damages based on case facts

Draft persuasive, well-structured demand letters

Summarize and present personal injury case facts effectively

Clearly explain medical injuries and case details in writing

Qualifications :

Experience drafting personal injury demand letters or persuasive legal writing

Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

Familiarity with CASEpeer is a plus; experience with Filevine or other case management software a plus

Knowledge of personal injury law and medical terminology preferred

Compensation & Benefits :

Pay : $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours per week; flexible start time between 7 : 30 AM – 9 : 30 AM
