The Global Physical Security (GPS) Data Center Systems Team manages technology enabling the GPS Operations Data Center Team to provide physical protection to Data Center property, assets, and infrastructure. Oracle utilizes internally owned Data Center locations and third-party external Data Centers managed by Co-Location service providers. Oracle is seeking a highly experienced and multi-talented Director of Data Center Security Systems to join our team. This new position will be responsible for project oversight of the current Data Center implementation, development and management of a dedicated team supporting the production Data Center Security Systems across NAM. Working with stakeholders outside of GPS, the initial focus will be the direction of security systems as Oracle constructs hyperscale DCs and the development of technical support teams across the Oracle Hyperscale portfolio.

The Director of Data Center Security Systems will :

• Provide operational direction and oversight to maintain GPS strategic initiatives related to the Data Center operational security program.
• Manage the Data Center Security Systems Support Team, including sourcing of appropriate contracted staff.
• Provide project management services as required, liaising closely with the implementation team.
• Provide mentoring, development, and guidance to the Data Center Systems Support Team members.
• Meet customer service financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Work closely with cross-functional support teams to ensure service compliance with all requirements.
• Provide technical support for Lenel Access Control and CCTV, Key management, and all other technical systems as required.
• Partner with Oracle Lines of Business and external audit regulatory bodies to ensure physical security compliance with diverse audit requirements.
• Provide quality advice to Oracle employees on all aspects of Physical Security as it applies to Data Center security.

Responsibilities :

The Data Center Security Systems Director's scope of responsibility will be regional initially but may grow to be global as the Oracle DC portfolio expands. This is a Director role requiring minimal direct supervision, which provides direction and mentorship to a FTE and contracted team. The role carries a high degree of responsibility and operational impact on the business function. The qualified candidate will report directly to the GPS VP Global DC Ops & Systems.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US : Hiring Range in USD from : $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
