**Job Title: Personal Care Assistant**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at The Laurels and The Haven in Highland Creek a Terra Bella community. The successful candidate will play a significant role in providing essential support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life. This role requires a high level of empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including assistance with walking and transferring from beds to wheelchairs.
- Monitor clients' health and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in personal care assistance (e.g., Certified Nursing Assistant) preferred.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
- Ability to handle physical tasks involved in patient care, such as lifting and transferring clients.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
