About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 3 years required

License : Pending license acceptable; must be in-hand prior to start

Certifications : BLS, RDCS or RCS required

Must-Have : Experience with 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Continuous Wave Doppler, Diastology, Imaging with Contrast Agents, LV Strain / LV Volume, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE).

Description :

The position involves working as a cardiac sonographer for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Shifts are scheduled for four consecutive days, from 6 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM.

Call is required as part of this role.

Experience caring for patients with Valvular Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Oncology, Congenital Anomalies, Cardiomyopathy, and Cardiogenic Shock is essential.

Experience with Epic charting systems is preferred.

Interdisciplinary support is available in the unit.

The patient age group includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and hold the necessary certifications.

Travel experience is preferred.
