Position Overview

The Returns Clerk manages customer returns, processes credits, repairs, and replacements, and keeps accurate records. This role ensures smooth operations and supports team goals by efficiently handling returns and maintaining strong communication between departments.

What you'll do

• Process returned merchandise and investigate the reason for returns.
• Maintain an accurate returns log and manage open return items until completion.
• Communicate return details to the production team through meetings and updates.
• Prepare returned goods for resale or disposition, including shipping to the Decorator's Outlet.
• Issue credits, repairs, or replacements based on customer claims.
• Collect necessary documentation from customers to verify return claims.
• Generate returns metrics, charts, and reports for tracking and analysis.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including COVID-related cleaning tasks.
• All other duties as assigned
