Associate Director, Global Trade Program Management

Raytheon ("RAY") has an opportunity for an Associate Director, Global Trade Program Management. This role reports directly to the Director, Global Trade Program Office Requirements, Tools, People & Governance and will provide project management oversight for various global trade initiatives.

This is a dynamic and fast paced role focused on strengthening the trade compliance program at the Raytheon business unit. This role requires collaboration within RAY Global Trade and with other RAY functions, as well as representing the business in Corporate program reviews.

The ideal candidate is agile, adaptable, driven, and strong communicator who is experienced in managing and executing projects.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Global Trade Program Office team in planning and tracking milestones for implementing multiple RTX and business initiatives.
  • Participate in RTX-wide global trade initiatives to plan for Raytheon actions, such as compliance system updates or new implementation.
  • Lead program work with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with the program objectives.
  • Monitor, interact, and course correct highly skilled technical teams to support agreed goals.
  • Measure and report on project statuses to stakeholders at all levels utilizing business and project management resources and procedures.
  • Manage budgets in multiple capacities, support management of cost, schedules, and customer interface activities.
  • Analyze data and monitor projects to ensure adherence to scope of work, cost, and schedule.
  • Proactively identify and address risks and develop solutions to problems which require critical thinking, creativity, and innovation.

Qualifications You Must Have :

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience.
  • Direct management or people leader experience or similar leadership experience leading matrixed or cross functional teams to success.
  • Experience in project management and project management strategy or similar project ownership responsibility in a deadline, metrics and results-driven environment.

  • Excellent business savvy to proactively identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently, including cost / benefit analysis through processes.
  • Experienced leader competencies, especially influential communications, strategic thinking, collaboration, customer focus while driving results.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize competing tasks with a demonstrated record in meeting deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and final implementation.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills developing clear, concise and logically written business communications as well as delivering recommendations effectively to key stakeholders and demanding audiences.

    The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
