LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in New Orleans, Louisiana, 70115!

Pay Information

$450 to $525 per hour

About The Position

Hematology and Oncology Locums Physician - Louisiana, Flexible Schedule

Outpatient Hematology and Oncology assignment in New Orleans with temp privileges and 2-week blocks still available.

Highlights

  • 2-week minimum per month; full-time blocks available
  • Temp privileges; start in 30 days with clean background
  • Only 1-2 locums will split coverage through the year
  • Fall and winter dates still open

Practice Setting

  • Outpatient-only cancer center in New Orleans
  • 40% Hematology, 60% Oncology case mix
  • APPs cover inpatient; MDs handle outpatient only
  • Main site is Tuoro; occasional rotation to a nearby clinic

    • Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
  • Light call (1 : 6); handled by text when needed
  • Ongoing need; 2-week blocks or monthly coverage

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Adults only; no bone marrow transplant or CAR-T
  • 20 patients per day on average
  • Full-spectrum Hem / Onc cases

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Hematology, Oncology, or both
  • Active Louisiana license or Open to IMLC Physicians
  • BLS, DEA, and recent Epic experience required

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage fully reimbursed
