What You'll Do
- Direct and coordinate nursing care, ensuring quality outcomes through the nursing process.
- Engage patients, families, and health team members in care planning and discharge processes.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care plans.
- Assist in defining standards of excellence for patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Help orient new staff members and act as a resource for nursing policies and procedures.
- Contribute to daily operational activities to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Provide input to the Nurse Manager on unit needs and participate in committees for policy formulation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
