CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking two Inspectors to join our Infrastructure Aviation Team at our Providence, RI office.

Your Impact

Every airport, regardless of its size, depends on a unique set of facilities and infrastructure to meet the specific needs of their community, stakeholders and partners. The CHA team excels in delivering specialized airside, landside, and facility-related planning and design. We bring a wealth of experience to our aviation clients so they can continue to be viable assets to the communities they serve.

The Inspector is responsible for observing and documenting the construction of airports. This includes monitoring construction for conformance with contract documents and shop drawings / material submittals, recording field observations, and verifying construction conforms to quality control plans. Additionally, the professional in this role prepares and maintains project records in accordance with company, client, and / or government standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree in Engineering Science, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred
• Valid US driver's license required
• No prior experience required; however, prior construction or construction observation experience preferred
• Able to comprehend construction plans and specifications
• Understands and follows company standards, demonstrates knowledge of construction techniques, and assists mid-to-senior level team members with complex projects
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong mathematics skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Extensive travel may be required
• NICET Level I certification preferred

Salary Range : $27.88 - $32.21

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
