Senior Business Analyst

Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a growing software team on a 6-month contract to hire basis. This is a hands-on functional role where you will be playing a key part in shaping enterprise software application suites, from gathering requirements to defining scope and driving successful delivery. The ideal candidate has experience managing scope creep and is strong with SQL.
This position is perfect for someone who loves bridging the gap between business and technology. You will work directly with business users and technical teams to design smart, scalable solutions while owning the scope of delivery. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise business applications.
• Proven track record managing scope creep and maintaining alignment across teams.
• Hands-on SQL experience for data analysis and validation.
• Strong understanding of structured SDLC methodologies and software design principles.
• Ability to synchronize application design with larger system architecture (ERP, integrations, security).
• Skilled with tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and MS Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present concepts clearly.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Exposure to enterprise transformation or optimization initiatives.
• Familiarity with multi-version or large-scale product deployments.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive issue escalation.
