Mental Health Clinician -Part Time- Grovetown, SC

We are currently seeking a Part time Day Shift Mental Health Clinician / Professional to join our team at Grovetown Detention Center, located in Grovetown, SC.

About this Mental Health Clinician / Professional position :

This position is a mental health position that will be evaluating and providing mental health services to the inmate population. This person should be able to diffuse situations and report information appropriately to other GENESYS Health Alliance providers, staff members, corporate staff or facility administration. There is an expectation that this individual maintains professional knowledge of GENESYS Health Alliance policy and procedures. The person filling this position is expected to be an example for other staff members in behavior, attitude and skills.

Mental Health Clinician / Professional Education / Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a Mental Health related discipline
• Licensure in South Carolina as a LCSW, LMHC, LMSW or LPC
• Four (4) years of experience directing or supervising therapeutic staff and / or related experience preferred but not required
• Active BLS Healthcare Provider / CPR Certification from the American Health Association or the American Red Cross
