ER RN Job Details – Orangeburg, SC

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1530-$1640

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 18, 2025

End Date : February 17, 2026

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital (286 beds)

Unit : Emergency Room (37 beds)

Shift : 3x12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Scrub Color : Royal Blue

Charting System : Epic

Parking : Free on-site parking

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience (travel nursing experience required)

Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State / Compact Registered Nurse license (must be active prior to start)

Certifications (AHA only) : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Preferred : CPI and TNCC certifications

Epic charting experience required

Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

Experience caring for neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patient populations

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment

Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and complex medical conditions

Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and manage IVs, arterial lines, and central lines

Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias, manage ventilated patients, and respond to trauma and critical care situations

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response

Accurately document all care in Epic electronic health records

Float to similar units as needed to support hospital operations

Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season if required
