Job description

Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Raytheon is conducting search for a motivated, self-directed Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager to support our ongoing compliance and risk reduction efforts at the Pelham, NH site. This site offers the EH&S Manager the opportunity to foster employee engagement and drive risk reduction and continuous improvement of the EH&S program in a fast-paced engineering environment.

As an EH&S Manager, your responsibilities will include :

  • Recognizing, evaluating and controlling hazardous workplace conditions.
  • Taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and health of site employees and influence safe behaviors.
  • Working with EH&S subject matter experts to assure compliance with applicable federal, state, local and company EH&S requirements.
  • Auditing and evaluating current policies, procedures and documentation to assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Executing initiatives, programs, reports and training across multiple EH&S disciplines to achieve and maintain compliance.
  • Investigating analyzing and interpreting data from injuries and near-misses ensuring corrective actions are completed on time, and all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Interacting with employees of all levels, promoting relationships, learning the tasks employees perform and gaining recognition as a resource to the employees at the site. Building partnerships and influencing across assigned areas to provide actionable improvement programs.

Qualifications you must have :

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience
  • Experience providing EH&S training on various subjects
  • Experience working with OSHA and / or EPA standards
  • Qualifications we prefer :

  • Previous experience with Fall Protection
  • Previous experience with electrical safety and lockout / tagout
  • Previous experience with RF energy
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Project management and execution skills

    This position requires ability to obtain a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.     The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
