Fraud Specialist

Description

The Specialist, Fraud reviews suspicious and fraudulent activity (under established monetary threshold) within the credit union and determines optimal resolution, such as account restrictions, member contact, referral to an investigator, etc.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Provide system administration and maintenance support for Triage and Investigations, including handling internal referrals from non-Fraud teams within First Tech
• Support in complex fraud activity analysis to aid in investigation
• Audit and review Triage and Investigation cases to ensure regulatory compliance and business standards
• Monitor fraud risk tools and procedures to assist in detecting suspicious patterns and trends
• Review and analyze data / activities from branches, contact center, internal stakeholders, and industry trends and evaluate to determine patterns or areas of potential risk
• Educate staff and stakeholders on fraud trends and associated behaviors
• Participate in system testing of new and existing technologies

Target Compensation for Hillsboro, OR : $55,000 - $59,000 + annual bonus
