Responsibilities Work in a dedicated vascular ultrasound unit with a daily census of 23 patients and 3 private rooms Patient population includes adolescents through geriatrics Average of 9 studies per day with staffing ratios of 1 : 3 on weekdays and 1 : 1 on weekends Specialized procedures include aorta, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, color flow, Doppler, duplex, lower and upper extremity arterial / venous scans, and renal artery duplex Use of Philips Epiq Elite and Viasonix Falcon Pro equipment Medstreaming used for unit documentation and Epic HR experience preferred Evening shift schedule is Monday to Friday, 2 : 30 PM – 11 : 00 PM; with rotating call (7 consecutive days every 4 weeks) and weekend shifts (once every 4 weeks, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM) Block scheduling in place Responsibilities include performing specialized vascular ultrasound studies and adapting to a fluid, dynamic environment Care for a wide range of vascular patients including complex surgical cases Team members may participate in operating room support for carotid endarterectomy Green scrubs are required but not provided Two professional references are required for consideration PDF copy of Driver’s License and Social Security Number required for consideration Requirements Minimum 5 years of vascular ultrasound experience required; 10 years preferred Current ARDMS, RVT, and BLS certifications required Experience in adult, ER, ICU, and portable vascular settings required Epic HR system experience preferred Must be able to work independently in a variety of patient care settings No first-time travelers will be considered License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618813.
