In this role, you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on medical equipment and electronic devices. You must be able to analyze and interpret schematics and block diagrams, perform preventative maintenance, incoming inspections, electrical safety inspections and repairs in accordance with LQTC management policies and procedures. This position is located in Nashville, TN Primary Responsibilities : Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification procedures on biomedical equipment Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions and return to manufacturers specifications Maintain documentation on all maintenance, incoming inspections and repairs performed Provide technical support to clients, providers and clinical staff Provide in-services and training to clinical staff on safe operations and care procedures Ensure proper service delivery by working with, directing, and documenting activities of subcontractors, vendors and outside service technicians Coordinate with other departments on maintaining equipment on mobile clinics including logistics and tracking of shipments Assist in the implementation of Preventative Maintenance procedures Perform modifications to equipment as per guidance of the manufacturers Interpret service manuals, schematics and other applicable service information required to perform and troubleshoot equipment Evaluate and monitor service programs for effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and timeliness of completion. Responsible for inventory accuracy using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Demonstrate working knowledge and use of required test equipment and electronics, including pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical knowledge and skills. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Required Qualifications : High School diploma or GED required, Minimum of 1 year in the Biomedical industry Must be able to pass Federal background check and drug testing Additional Information : A.A.S. Degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent military training preferred 10% travel may be required within the United States Adequate IT, networking and computer skills Knowledge of computers and skills used to interpret error codes, replace power supplies, and defragment hard drives Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy Project Management and equipment life cycle management Motivated, self-starter with attention to detail and innovation Ability to use common hand tools and small power equipment Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources including manufacturer documentation, internet research and diagnostic codes Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills X-Ray / CT and / or Laboratory experience preferred CBET, CLES, CRES, CHTM preferred About Leidos QTC Health Services Leidos QTC Health Services collaborates closely with government and non-government customers to address current and future program needs within the health services domain.
