Position 1 : Full-Time Driver

Position 2 : Part-Time Driver
Schedule : Part-time (18 hours / week), Part YearPay : $30.00 / hour + $1,400 Incentive PayBenefits : Not eligible for benefits packageDuties
Transporting children and parents enrolled in agency programs safely and promptlyServing as a positive role model for children, parents, and the publicActing as an integral part of children's educational experienceDelivering food and program supplies / equipment to appropriate sitesSupporting program operations with light maintenance tasksAssisting in classrooms when neededBuilding positive relationships with families and childrenMaintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness standardsFollowing all federal and state transportation regulationsSupporting diverse program needs through flexible task completionRequirements
Age : Minimum 18 years oldEducation : High school diploma or GEDLicensing Requirements :Valid Wisconsin driver's licenseValid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsementsDriving Record : Excellent 5-year driving history with less than 7 points on driving abstractSafety Requirements :Successfully pass drug tests as mandated by federal lawMeet insurance underwriter's driving record requirementsAbility to lift 50 poundsProfessional Competencies : Strong customer service skillsPreferred Experience :Working with low-income families and people with disabilitiesExperience with young childrenVehicle and building maintenance experienceBenefits

Reach Dane provideshigh-quality early childhood services to over 1,000 underserved children ages 0-5 in Dane County through center based and home visitation programs. Our staff work tirelessly every day to reach the most vulnerable children and families in our community, and the need for our services is growing.The number of infants and toddlers experiencing homelessness enrolled in our programs has tripled over the last four years.Last year, Reach Dane served more homeless children than any other Head Start program in Wisconsin.
