CDL B Driver – Straight Truck Local Deliveries

Clinton, PA

$19 to $20 / hour to start

Monday thru Friday – Start Varies – 8 to 9 hours daily

Temporary to Hire

Description of Essential Job Functions :

  • Stops vary based on shipment and volume.
  • Dedicated & Hot Shot Routes.
  • Equipment

Drivers are assigned a Standard, Freightliner, or Penske straight truck.

  • All leased and maintained vehicles, new vehicles.

    • Qualifications, Skills & Experience :

  • Previous dock worker experience.
  • Previous forklift experience in a freight environment.
  • Valid medical card required.
  • 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • 5 years of U.S. driving experience.
  • Must meet all DOT standards and maintain commercial drivers’ license.
  • Must have Hazmat endorsement or be able to obtain one.
  • Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, pushing / pulling freight throughout shift.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
  • Ability to work independently and / or as a team member.
  • Prior dock / warehouse experience in the transportation industry is a plus.
  • Pass a company paid Post Offer Pre-Hire screen (physical essential functions) test.
