About The Position

Facility : Central Vermont Medical Center

Position Description : Rate Type :

Assignment for up to 32 weeks.

Women's and Children's L&D RN : Float required and call (2 – 12 hour shifts in a rolling 4 week timeframe). A minimum of every other weekend and / or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.

Requirements :

• Prior travel experience
• BLS, NRP required; ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), STABLE preferred
• 1 year of L&D experience to submit, as well as LDRP experience
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
• Experience as a baby nurse at delivery, initiating / being a part of neonatal resuscitations, assigning APGAR scores, and giving newborn medications post-delivery
