Our Specialty offerings consist of  Emergency, Critical Care, Cardiology, Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery.  This new facility features multiple advanced Surgery suites, as well as sophisticated Trauma response and Critical Care capabilities.

About the role : As a Registered Veterinary Technician in the Internal Medicine department, some duties you will be responsible for include :

• Provide compassionate care and monitoring for animals admitted to the internal medicine department.
• Assist with a variety of diagnostic procedures including blood work, imaging, and endoscopy.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and wound care treatments under veterinarian supervision.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners, offering guidance on their pet’s condition and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure equipment is properly maintained and sterilized.
• Assist veterinarians during procedures such as biopsies and aspiration cytology.
• Stay updated on advancements in internal medicine through continuing education.
• Collaborate closely with other veterinary professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Advocate for the well-being of patients, ensuring they receive appropriate care and treatment.
• Other duties as assigned.
