This position involves advising and selling parts to customers in person, via phone, and email.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work with customers in person, via phone and email
- Use customer provided information to identify product or parts needed
- Use printed and digital catalogs and diagrams for product research
- Advise customers of product price and availability
- Cross sell complementary products and services
- Prepare customer quotes, estimates, rental agreements, and service requests
- Input customer orders received via telephone, email, website
- Prepare and issue customer invoices
- Issue vendor purchase orders
- Receive, ship, and store parts as needed
- Follow up & monitor open customer orders daily
- Communicate delivery status, changes and or delays with customers
- Follow up on customer order errors and remedy the situation
