Job Description

Trainee Design and Certification Engineer

Our client is seeking a motivated Trainee Design and Certification Engineer to join their engineering team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent postgraduate students looking to begin their career in aerospace engineering and certification. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Head of Airworthiness and Senior Design Engineers to support aircraft interior modification projects encompassing both design and certification aspects.

Key Responsibilities

Certification and Compliance :

• Assist in compiling modification and repair packages in accordance with UK CAA Part 21 Subpart J requirements.
• Classify changes to type design and prepare associated technical documentation.
• Support the creation of compliance demonstration reports and accomplishment instructions.
• Learn to interpret and apply aviation regulations, ensuring all modifications meet required airworthiness standards.
