Job descriptionThis is an employment opportunity with HCA Houston Healthcare - offering a competitive salary. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, malpractice coverage, 401K and paid time off. No nights or weekends required. Hours are roughly 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday, but some days may start earlier, or end later. Duties include rounding on inpatient general surgery patients as a consult service, evaluating patients before and after procedures. Two days of clinic per week. Operating Room participation welcomed but not required. Job Summary :
HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking to recruit a General Surgery focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) for employment to a busy General Surgery group based in the north Houston suburb community of North Cypress.
Qualified Candidates :
- Acute care APP training and experience with general surgery is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license.
- Ability to communicate general surgery plans with primary team.
- Maintenance of acute care certification.
