The Director of Health and Wellness is responsible for the overall operation of our care department, including leadership, training, and oversight of clinical staff who provide services to our residents.

This role involves overseeing daily operations of the clinical department, hiring, training, and developing staff in conjunction with the leadership team, working directly with residents to evaluate needs and services, and providing guidance on electronic care systems.

Responsibilities :

• Oversight and responsibility for daily operations of the clinical department
• Hiring, training, and development of staff
• Resident assessment and service planning
• Management of care staff

Key Qualifications :

This position requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, or geriatric nursing, and knowledge of medication management systems, infection control practices, and safety procedures.

Other Requirements :

A love for seniors and the ability to develop and utilize service plans are also essential for this role.
