Job Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Technician to support the day-to-day operations of our production processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing practices. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, troubleshooting process issues, recording data, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in setting up operational parameters in ERP system such as Bill of Materials and Job Routings.
- Perform routine process inspections and process checks to ensure quality and compliance.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process-related issues in a timely manner.
- Collect and analyze data to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, maintenance, and quality control.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, & quality teams to implement process improvements.
- Follow all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Support training efforts for new operators or process changes.
- Participate in audits, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Basic understanding of process control systems and instrumentation.Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficient in using computers and basic software (e.g., MS Office, ERP experience such as SAP or Acumatica / MES production software).Able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, or weekends as needed.Physical Requirements :
May involve standing, lifting, or operating machinery for extended periods.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required in certain areas.Ability to stand, walk, bend, sit, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.Work in a manufacturing / warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
