We are seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator 1 to help maintain the appearance and functionality of campus grounds. This position operates a range of mobile equipment, including mowers, tractors, dump trucks, and forklifts, to perform grounds maintenance and hauling tasks.

Minimum Qualifications :

No experience or training is required.

Job Duties and Other Information :

Job Duties :

• Operates a variety of grounds maintenance equipment (e.g. tractors (bush hogs), gang mowers (up to eight feet across), riding mowers, push mowers, etc.,)
• Operates dump trucks for hauling off a variety of items (e.g. trash, debris, aggregates, etc.) for removing unwanted items from facilities in compliance with established guidelines.
• Operates forklifts with lifting capacity over 10,000 lbs.
• Provides guidance to and oversees work of lower graded operators and laborers, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
