Location : Downers Grove, IL

Industrial Kinetics designs and builds engineered to order conveyor and material handling systems. In this role, you'll begin by learning our products, CAD standards, fabrication practices, and design processes. As you develop, you will take on more engineering responsibility including concept design, calculations, component selection, problem solving, and eventually full ownership of machine designs. In addition to the CAD role, this is a role designed to grow and develop into a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

• Competitive salary : The hiring range for the role is $60,000-$65,000 annually and will be dependent on experience, skills and education

Position Summary : Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position will assist in developing custom machine and conveyor concepts and support senior engineers with design calculations and mechanism development. You will be able to learn about conveyor, sheet metal design, and fabrication constraints.
