CT Technician

Job Description

Equity Staffing Group is currently staffing a CT Technician in Corvallis, Oregon.

Position : CT Technician

Location : Corvallis, OR

Duration : 3 Month contract to start, potential for extension and / or conversion to FTE

Rate : $47.00 / Hr

Start Date : ASAP

Responsibilities :

Technicians must be proficient in the ability to start IVs, maintain intravenous lines, flush ports, administer contrast agents as appropriate, maintain a safe scan area, utilize scan protocols, communicate with providers and radiologists. Techs are responsible for protocolling all orders prior to scheduling, communicating concerns to providers, and checking risk factors for IV contrast administration. Techs will be utilizing Siemens Syngo via software on the scanner, utilizing two pacs Merge and Phillips, as well as accessing the RIS and EMR.

Type of certification required : ARRT (R)(CT), OBMI radiographer.

BLS for healthcare providers is also a facility requirement.

Shift start & end times : 8 : 30 to 7pm

Work days per week : 4

Dress code / scrub color : Any as long as print is work appropriate

Min Education : Associate’s Degree
