Plant Watchperson-Hiilangaay Hydro Plant

We have a part-time opening for a Hiilangaay Hydroelectric facility Watchman. This position will be responsible for bi-monthly hydro plant visits to monitor the facilities and record information. This includes aiding in maintenance, equipment inspections, and monthly walk arounds. Hiilangaay Hydroelectric facility is a remote site that can only be accessed by float plane, helicopter and marine vessel. Must be willing to work flexible hours sometimes with short notice. Must be willing to travel to the remote site in a marine vessel, this includes a small landing craft and open skiff.

We are looking for a dependable, self-starting person that has what it takes to keep the lights on with safety being the main focal point. Our ideal candidate is a person who is driven to serve our customers with a positive "can-do" attitude, who is eager to learn and can work independently.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist power plant operators in routine maintenance
• Accurately record and report information
