Description :

Endoscopy Registered Nurse - Must have RN license in hand for Auto Offer.

First-timers are accepted.

The position requires skills in airway management, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and ERCP.

Experience with monitoring conscious sedation, recovering patients from monitored anesthesia care sedation, and specimen handling / labeling is required.

The traveler will be on-call every 5th weekend.

The facility preference is for candidates with strong experience in the required skills.

Candidates must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.

Specific patient demographics include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The daily census is approximately 15 with a service covering various patient diagnoses.

Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and transportation.

Required skills also include circulating and scrub roles, as well as outpatient endoscopy.

References from supervisory roles covering one year of employment within the last three years are required.

Candidates are encouraged to look into housing options in the area as options may be limited.
