Estimator Estimator

Position Overview

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the work are considered to deliver competitive bids. This role involves working closely with project managers and clients to understand project specifications and requirements, as well as analyzing data from past projects to inform estimates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze blueprints and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather project specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.
  • Prepare and submit detailed proposals and bids, ensuring compliance with specifications and deadlines.
  • Evaluate the costs of different construction materials and labor, making recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimated costs and provide reports for project tracking and analysis.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on earthwork and concrete projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Benefits

    Compensation : $ 80,000- $120,000
