Email Marketing Specialist
This is a remote position. We're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist with a solid understanding of marketing automation, customer journey flows, and eCommerce growth levers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and execute email campaigns and automated flows (e.g., welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, re-engagement) in HubSpot
- Support broader lifecycle marketing strategies with hands-on execution and optimization
- Collaborate with content and design teams to produce email assets that reflect brand tone and drive conversion
- Implement segmentation strategies to target specific audiences and improve deliverability and engagement
- Track and report on key performance metrics (open rates, CTR, CVR, etc.), identifying insights and opportunities
- Conduct A / B testing on subject lines, copy, design, and send times to optimize performance
- Maintain and organize contact lists, ensuring data hygiene and compliance with email regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
- Stay current with best practices and trends in email marketing and eCommerce automation
- Occasionally assist in cross-channel campaign alignment (e.g., paid media, landing pages, pop-ups)
Requirements
24 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, ideally in eCommerce or DTCProficient with HubSpot (flows, lists, segmentation, reporting); experience with Klaviyo is a plusStrong analytical skills to interpret email KPIs and recommend data-driven actionsGood eye for design and UX within email templates (no need to code, but basic editing / design skills a plus)Strong copy instincts and attention to detailComfortable working independently and in collaboration with creative and growth teamsFamiliarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify is preferredNice to Have
