Associate Project Manager
Prudential Individual Life Insurance is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the strategic planning and execution of various Marketing initiatives. This will include ILI product launches, campaigns, communications, promotional efforts, as well as inventory management. This position will be critical to help drive growth and achieve business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project Management, identify as a self-starter with a business owner's mentality, and be focused on delivering on business goals and priorities. The candidate will be well-versed in developing project plans, timelines, and manage delivery of marketing material from inception through completion.
This will be a hybrid role based out of Newark, NJ or Hartford, CT and requires your on-site presence on a recurring basis as determined by your business.
Key responsibilities for this role include :
- Partnering with marketing and business partners to develop high quality marketing campaigns and content with on-time delivery
- Evaluating workload capacity, prioritizing tasks and negotiating timelines to flex and adapt to shifting needs
- Paying great attention to detail, time management and finishing skills to timelines and quality expectations
- Working as part of an agile team leading a variety of projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Building product and industry acumen while demonstrating a passion for providing solutions to key audiences
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the development and production of marketing materials on time and on budget through oversight of projects; This includes overseeing assets through Subject Matter Expert and Compliance reviews, ensuring quality and adherence to internal standards and external regulations.Manage detailed project plans from strategy / launch to execution / optimizations, assembling the right stakeholders for collaboration, support and approvals using the Workfront platform.Collaborate with Marketing Strategists and Pod teammates, to contribute to strategic planning and story development.Contribute to global prioritization and capacity management, anticipating and resolving cross-project impacts.Proactively look for opportunities to improve on process efficiencies through the lens of business needs.Serves as point of contact for project status and information.Review, proof, and edit draft communication materials, presentations and assigned marketing for accuracy and to maintain unified message points.Review, manage and communicate firm specific marketing material approvalsOther duties as assigned.What You'll Need :
Minimum of 5 years in marketing / communications project management, preferably in the insurance and financial services industry. Internal candidates will be considered that don't meet this requirement if they can demonstrate strong life insurance and distribution acumen with a desire to move into a marketing career.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple medium and complex projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.Strong relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of collaborating on project delivery.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new information and build relationships quickly.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in product, channel, or consumer marketing a plus.Experience with Microsoft Excel, Lists and high degree of comfort with learning new tools including AIExperience working with life insurance distribution and managing firm approvals is a plus.Self-directed and proactive needing little to no monitoring to ensure deliveryProblem solver with a critical eye for detail and opportunities for improved efficiency or to use modern marketing tools.Time management and workflow skills, including proficiency using WorkFrontStrong focus on the success of the team.Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $92,400.00 to $137,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
